Bio teacher was teaching about Greenhouse effect.
She said: "Greenhouse effect will lead to Global Warming, but I don't know why they use Greenhouse, not redhouse, bluehouse..."
This made me and Kah Ho LOL.
From Wikipedia:
"The name comes from an incorrect analogy with the warming of air inside a greenhouse compared to the air outside the greenhouse."
There you go, if you are wondering...
---
Physic lab... Neo put a magnet and attracted to the liquid paper (aka correction pen). When he asked (although he knew the answer) our teacher why is that happening...
"Probably there is some metallic substances inside the liquid paper..."
For those who want to know, it's actually the metal ball inside the liquid paper. You can 'hear' it by shaking it.
---
Another Physic lab incident...
Devva's table's electric supplier... er... has a loose wire...
And they spotted it.
But then...
"Sir, something wrong with my electric thingy..."
"Let me see..."
After checking for about 15 minutes...
"Hey this wire had broke off! Why you all no observation..."
Again, we LOL...

Back to School (delayed)
A cool breeze blew against my face when I was waiting for my school bus. It had been almost 2 months that I had not woken up this early. The first thing I noticed was that my brothers would be studying in the afternoon shift this year.
The chilling silence of the morning was weird.
The bus came, along with its usual honking signal (which is quite annoying, although it is useful for notifying me when school ends). "Rm120 from now on," was what the bus driver said when I went onto the bus. The bus fare had increase - again.
I slept on the journey to school, and woke up when the bus had almost arrived at school. Everything seemed to be automatic after four years of practice. The school came into view, with its coats of arms. The school bell rang when I stepped out of the bus - just in time.
Familiar happy (well... most of them) faces welcomed me when I entered the class room. A lot of 'long time no see' and 'how's your holiday' could be heard. We had a nice chat before the class teacher entered. We had a different form teacher this year. I don't know much about this teacher. All I know is that she taught us Chinese Lit last year and it was - b o r i n g.
The usual class committee meeting was held and I got the deco post. Almost 80% of the classmates voted for me so I can't deny it. As time passed, I noticed one more thing - we had fewer boys than girls. We are outnumbered by (around) 3 to 1! And one of the noise makers had dropped to the second class. We 'missed' his noise. :P
A simple assembly was held and some usual notices and rules were amplified by the vice-principal (now principal). There are some rumors about some rules about the hostel students need to wear PE T-shirt to go out. Well... I think it is fairly useless as they can change their shirt OUT of the school.
One more thing I missed is the school basketball court. Feel nice to play back in the school.
School ended earlier that day and Kah Ho was saying about get home quick and play Maple Story. -.-'''
Next few days were characterized by a fever of copying holiday homeworks.
It's after all, another normal year, except the fact that we will be having the GCE exams this year. Hope that we will not be doomed.
The first few days started out as normal as it could be - even the copying of holiday homework is a normal sight - to teachers too.
