Last day of the year

New Year coming very soon... about 20 hours from now.

Nothing pretty special happened lately, just a few visits to the old friends and come movies.
Talking about movies, 'Avatar', 'ZombieLand', and 'Bodyguards and Assassins' are 3 good movies. If you guys havent watch them, download it!
Went to Kah Ming house to play 2k10 with 42'' Plasma TV o.O
Drive to KL, with Yu Chuan and co. Damn, at last I've been to Sunway Pyramid! The way up to the parking lot is beyond cool. LOL
Successfully organized a mini gathering for some of the 6S primary students.
Made havoc for Wei Ling and Kah Loon.
Had futsal for xmas eve! Whoa, futsal is nice. My first time playing it.

I've finished my foundation year by the way, gonna start degree next year.

And whoa, I would like to introduce Bubzbeauty.com for the girls, and even for the boys who like some comedy vids. The creator (Bubz) is really awesome. Should check it out!

OK it's getting late. I know this is a very short post for my long absent, but I'm working now as a freelance designer and the visiting of the friends, cousins, and going outstation do take away quite a lot of time lately. I will try to give a better update next time - well, if there is anyone who still read my blog anyway. =P

Looking forward for some surprise in the next few hours. A small hang-out would be nice for new year eve. :)

Time, time, time

Staying in my dorm
Sitting in my room
In front of my comp
Listen to a song
Humming to the tone
Charging my cell phone
Setting my ring tone
Let me get it done

It is getting really late man
Five-fifty-five plus in the A-M
No really don't worry I'm not mad
Night stalking as always, yes I am.

Starting to hate this faceless time
The speed, way way faster than mine
Why, hell ya, I do mind
Because time is worth a zillion's dime

Chasing the time for my own damn sake
Keep it up, I don't want my rhythm to break
Like catching water with bare hands in a lake
Eventually but surely it will just leak.

I asked myself, does time flies, really?
And the same answer stuck myself, sadly
Yes, ha-ha, yes, and he doesn't look happy
Yea, I know it is not funny
But this is the f***ing reality
And we can't we ain't changing any

When time is gone there is the past tense
Hey you can't change it so don't pretend
All you need is to keep on fighting, and
The battle between the time is just getting intense

Time goes vrum-vrum fast like hell
That's why we need to use it well
This is what Aftermath will tell
Sleep late, stay awake, like KL

Time had moved on in a speed that shock me
Datelines and deadlines for me to meet
Is time sending a message trying to tell me
You are too slow, man, try to chase me!
If I'm late I will likely be a dead meat
Yea, the assignments, you will get an 'E'!

Eh - is time trying to tell me that
You are a step closer to the end, that
You need to hurry up to catch up so that
You won't be left behind and be like tat.

Okay stop the crap and let me continue and
Let me conclude this bull-shyt so that I can
Finish this post and, so that I can sleep then
One thing is for sure that, time is very fast and
Not to win it, but try to catch up the beat and
Try not to miss too much and enjoy as much as you can
So that you will not regret later on and
Before you notice the post has come to an end.

Peace xD

Harimau vs. Merlion ?

There is a very interesting topic going on these days.

The FOOD origin debate - A FOOD FIGHT.

Yes, Malaysia and Singapore are trying to... or I should say, Singapore is trying to claim that 'Bak Kut Teh' (a type of chinese dish where Pork is cooked with soup), and 'Hai Nan Chicken Rice' , and some other local dishes as theirs.

Now, let's have a look on the news feed:
Netizens argue over origin of dishes after M’sia plans to stake claim
By TEH ENG HOCK

PETALING JAYA: A “food fight” is brewing, especially in cyberspace, following Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen’s statement of Malaysia’s intention to lay claim to several dishes.

The story has been widely picked up by news portals, online forums and blogs worldwide after Dr Ng said that nasi lemak, laksa, bak kut teh, chilli crab and Hainanese chicken rice are Malaysian.

Catherine Deshayes, who is from Britain’s TheMoveChannel.com, said it would be interesting to see how Malaysia would go about branding these famous dishes.

“The country is set on ensuring that visitors are aware that these dishes originated in Malaysia although they are popular all over the world.

“Variations of the dishes listed are available in several other Asian nations, particularly Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand and China,” she wrote.

Dr Ng’s statement did not go down well with some Netizens in the region, especially Singaporeans, who had come to consider Hainanese chicken rice and chilli crab their own.

The more diplomatic ones shrugged it off as “a promotional exercise” but not everyone was as kind.

“She might as well claim that steamed white rice is also Malay-sian,” said a reader on Singapore’s Straits Times online discussion board.

Another post read: “Laksa, nasi lemak, Hainanese chicken rice, chilli crab and bak kut teh – how many Malaysian outlets’ food is as tasty as the ones found in any food court here? Come and taste the originals by Singaporeans”.

“Countries of origin? Just cook and eat to your hearts’ content. It is how it is cooked and what makes tourists keep coming back to them that matters!” said another respondent on the forum.

Singaporean blogger TheBrother-hood questioned how Malaysia would make their claim on the dishes official.

“The principle of food sovereignty would be hilarious, if only it wasn’t taken so seriously. Tell me is chilli crab Malaysian or Singaporean? What about laksa, is it ours or theirs? Are we going to the Hague (International Court of Justice)?” he asked.

However, Malaysians are not taking the blows lying down and have hit back.

“Yes, Hainan is one of China’s provinces but I think my grandfather told me it was a recipe created by the Hainanese from Malaysia,” said a respondent on The Star’s Citizen blog.

N.K. Khoo, a Malaysian blogger from Ledang, Johor said: “Bak kut teh is truly a Malaysian dish, which originated from Klang. Singapore is hijacking it from Malaysia and claiming bak kut teh as theirs”.

LOL

So, after all the thousands and millions of bloggers, forumers, and online users debated on this topic, let me join in this mess and give my 2 cents.

First of all, I had been visiting Singapore for quite some time, and I even have relatives there. I had tried several food traditional food there and, to say the truth, many of them sux - really.
There are 'Chao Kuy Tiao' which taste sweet.
There are 'Bak Kut Teh' which the soup is - black in colour.
The spagati there is oven-cooked.
And hey, the ice-kacang there is, what should I say? It's either too sweet or it's too plain.

Let me give you some facts.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Bak kut teh was introduced to Malaya in the 19th century by Chinese workers from Canton, Chaoshan and Fujian.
From ChinaHistoryForum.com '中国历史论坛':
... Bak Kut Teh was invented by a gentleman from Quanzhou of the Fujian province in China. The secret recipe was passed to a friend who later went to Klang and became the first person to commercialise and sell Bak Kut Teh. The dish went on to become a famous dish and was copied and improved many times over...
Indeed, Bak Kut Teh is originally borned in Klang, Malaysia. Just because Singapore has a lot of Hokkien 'lang', doesn't mean that Bak Kut Teh will be theirs. Bak Kut Teh was introduced in Malaysia to sustain the labour work that the Chinese immigrant workers were doing there (mining, rubber tapping, ports labour, etc. etc.). What the hell does Singapore need that much labour there as there isn't much harvestable resourses there.

Quote:
"When asked about he thought of Klang style Bak Kut Teh, Ah Peng simply laughed and said that it uses a lot of herbs, including Tang Kuei which is traditionally used to boost women's reproductive health and to ease PMS."
True, do you know that people from China had been expirencing a very different climate. The herbs are originally used as a tonic to boost their health. It is not plainly for your taste buds. Hell, they don't even know the use of it.

Now, Hainan Chicken Rice.
I must say, this common yet mouth-watering dish is not from either country. It's from China.
I remember my dad told me the history of it. The Hainan Chicken Rice's rice is sticked into a ball shape - like a oversized fishball. This is the speciality of this dish. The purpose of it is so that the farmers/workers in the field don't need to prepare a bowl for themselves. They can just talk the rice ball and eat.
However, as far as I know, the only so-called Hainan Chicken Rice with rice balls are only avaliable in Melaka, Malaysia.

BUT, there is one special food about Hainan Chicken in my homtown, Ipoh.
The legendary Ipoh 'Tauge' (bean sprout) Chicken, usually with 'Kuay Tiao' (a type of noodle), but rice is also avaliable. And Ipoh is famous for it's 'Tauge'.

So, I've speak up. It is up to the other Malaysian to back it up.
I don't like Malaysia ended up as China, where Korean had 'stolen' the DuanWu Festival (端午节) from them.

Before I end this post, I would like to quote a fellow blogger's voice, which I found very interesting.
First, i've been to Singapore before, and i've eaten 15 different meals there. It sucks. How can you say thats great food? My mum can cook better than that.
Their Char Kuey Teow, is terrible, its sweet.??? Its sweet??? WHY? I don't understand why do you put sugar in a mee. Its just uncomprehendable.

They are great Singapore food, I admit. BUT!!!! Its not great Singapore-AN food. The cook of the 3 great food ( Bak kut teh & chili crab, amongst them ) are Malaysians, we asked them.
The great food of Singapore, are actually immigrants from Malaysia, staying in Singapore. So the "great" food there, are from Malaysia. The locals there cook crap.

Malaysian's food aren't as popular, because we never commercialize it. But if we do, then they will know the truth
Therefore, even if some of the food there are great, its cooked by Malaysians. Its ours, leave em alone you kiasus.
If its at Singapore, its still MALAYSIAN'S COOKING AND CULTURE.
The crowd has spoken. Malaysia food is still better. :)

Peace.

Aftermath, out.

PS: Let's just hope they don't increase the food price. :P

Selamat Hari Raya and the story so far...

Good evening, this is your f**king captain speaking.
We will soon be reaching Tanjong Malim, the border city of the state.
That is, about 70-kilometre from KL.
Please undo your seatbelt for the journey.
You are now free to sleep and talk some sh*t about it.

======

Okay, back to the usual long-winded updates of events.

The week after Merdeka day, we had a Monday off, so my friends and I went back to my hometown IPOH. I took them around and had some great time. Damn that day we go RedBox and went to see "ah gua".
There was also the Poi Lam High annual Fun and Food Fair held that weekend. So, we went and pay a visit.
Besides, my dearest 'sis (mui mui)' had her birthday on 9th. Although can't celebrate it with her, but we went for a movie. Hope to get some time to, maybe call her out or something.

Back to Desa, we had a lot of assignments waiting. As i predited, the tsunami rises and waves of homework come flushing in. Lucky or not, for people like me, we take it lightly and do it last minute as well. =P

Oh yea, before i forget, we have new company in our house unit. A new guy called Jet moved into the master room. He's tall, dark, and quite friendly. Like to draw manga, play baskets. Had some long talks the night before i came back to Ipoh.

Now I'm in my very own home, in IPOH, writing this blog entry.
Here, I would like to wish all Malays and Muslim a very Happy 'HARI RAYA' and drive safe in this festival season.

Have fun and be safe.

Bon Voyage

So long, good night.

So it's been about 3 weeks plus since I came back to Desaria.
Life didnt change much, except some new friends - and 1 special, unexpected, but pleasant guest.

We had a lot of fun times together. Never been that fun in campus life before.
Drove to Penang, Bukit Merah, Klang. Ah, at last I ate the Klang 'Bak Kut Teh'.

Planning to buy Nikon D60 Camera.

Homework is starting to pour in like flood - soon it will be tsunami.

Ice Age 3 - At last

At last, yesterday evening, I went out with Kah Ming, Neo, Kah Ho, and Kah Ming's friend.
Destination is Jusco, watching Ice Age 3.
It's been a long time... since i watch movie... lol
Felt quite outdated.

Anyway, that show is super duper darn freaking FUNNY!
Anyone with the right sense of humor should really watch it!

After the show we had a small little 'gathering' with Chee 'bet' Hong, the usual crap talking business. We did speak about 'Jacky' 'Elize' 'Kah Ming'... something like that... haha... wont tell you the whole thing :P

Btw, 2moro (which is 2day), we will go for another movie - Transformer 2, Revenge of the Fallen. Yea, I haven't watch that.
And I think I will watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince before going back to KL.
Me thinks.

Getting late, ciaox.

Aftermath, signning out.

PS: Neo was totally owned in 2K9 NBA :P

Back to IPOH

Today whole day at bus sleep... now still didn't feel sleepy... lol

so... at last, I left Singapore on Sunday morning, stayed 1 night in Johor, and took a bus on Monday back to Ipoh, my hometown.

Did I stay there for too long? Because I feel like... dunno how to stay... just like used to it... the way... nevermind that...

This time, I left Singapore, not only with the usual 'beeping' of the Ez-link and the familiar MRT...
But also, new friends I met there.
Hope to see you all again... next holiday. =P

Speaking of holidays... So now I have almost a month before the new semester start. Should do the things I wanted to do before that. Semester 2 will be a busy one.

My novel writing will be included in the list, I suppose...

Alright, should try to get some sleep.

Aftermath, out.

PS: I saw a shooting star on the night of the BBQ camp... I just remembered it... I saw it while I'm lying on the rocks with Fiona... and Jason I think...

After that took MRT to... Bukit Batok... haha...
Paiseh paiseh, ah Mak need you go so far... :P

After that went makan in WestMall.
Stayed overnight at Mak's house that night.

Just a quiz

the title says so...
in the comment...

Update on SIngapore #2

From oldest 1st, I guess.

So... here goes...

Last Saturday, I went to East Coast with my cousin Joseph and his friends for a night camp. Had BBQ there, played some games, tried fishing (without much success :P), and definitely a lot of chatting. LOL
Glad to know so many new friends there! :)
Some of them are really nice! ^^ Really happy to be with them.
Definitely gonna miss them when I go back to Malaysia.
Didn't sleep the whole night, though.
Weird leh... our 'lifeguard', Fiona (spelled correctly?) didn't feel anything from sleeping on the rocks... -.- Geng...
Regretted for lying down on the rocky area for too long... it's a pain in the ass (quite true).

And finally, I met Tomato aka Ah Mak. Watch a pretty stupid but funny movie... what's the name again... The World of the Lost? something like that...
Some special scenes and quotes included:
(spoiler warning)

"The size of the brain of a T-Rex, is about the size of a walnut! (And the T-Rex threw a walnut 2 times bigger than a human head to him!)"

" can SUCK that..."

"If you cant make it, it's your own vault ."

-----

NOTICE:
Still awaiting confirmation from you, Mr Sam and company :P
Will go to KL on either Sunday or Monday (morning).

-----

And I would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to my friend Phoebe Zhong.
Beat that :P

-----

That's all for the moment I guess.

PS: We went basketball again today. Nice match :)

SPM Lisan (Oral), BM

Just a short update.
Today (or rather, yesterday) went to SMK Anderson to take the BM oral test for SPM.

Taking SPM because my mom thinks that taking the cert would be useful next time.
Whatever la... just go and 'tembak' saja.

The title I chose was 'Semangat Kejiranan' (or Neighborhood spirit). Just talk some crap. And for the 1st time in my life, we did a forum-like group conversation (oral test part 2) without preparation with 3 other students that I've never meet beforehand.

Well... things seems go well...
I think I've just scrap a 'B' for oral. :)

PS: School Scout Camp rox! 19th Kinta rulezz... =P Had a lot of fun with my juniors xD

Yea! New Lappy!

At last...
The moment has come...

*drumroll*

I present you - Dell Inspiron 1427

Stats include:
Core 2 Duo 8200
4GB RAM
320GB HDD
14.1'' LCD

And most interestingly, graphics powered by:
NVIDIA Ge-Force 9300M GS 512MB

Cool huh?

And it cost only RM3199, which also covers Window Vista Home Premium (which I hate it very much, but never mind), mouse, cooler, and some lappy (my friend taught me lappy = laptop :P) stuffs.

Not bad for a lappy like that huh?
I'm not really pro in computer stuffs - at least at hardware part.

So... guess I will be seeing you around in Desaria if the plan goes well (for my Desaria'n friends).

Later.

Aftermath, out.

PS: Luckily the laptop... duh, lappy, is not in red colour as the shop owner told me. It's the same cool shiny black. Limkokwing's colour huh.

A letter to Streamyx.

----

Dear Streamyx,

I'm very sorry to say that I had called you slowmyx, suxmyx and many other bad names about you with all my gamer friends. The lost of you from my computer connection truly make me suffer.
Your brother, TMnet is much more worse! Loading a page of webpage requires 5-10 minutes!
I'm very thankful to you, my dear streamyx, who enable me to play GG online again.
But still...
You are f*beep*'ing slow and pathetic for the 90 bucks I paid each month.

PS: You should be renamed as shytmyx, sorry for calling 'slowmyx'.

Aftermath.

LOL... nth to do... juz get my Streamyx back.
Gonna ger my laptop REAL soon.

Happy Holidays.

Week 15, End of Semester 1

Too fast... yea... too furious...

SO FAST, it's week 15!
Holiday is just around the corner! Can't wait to go home! xD
But before that... I will drop by at Subang Jaya... Poi Lam High Second Diversion aka Taylor College.

Let me update the SitRep.
First of all... last weekend, Sunday. I and my friend rent a stupid Kancil manual with sux-ish air-con and stupid condition.
Then we drive to have a look at Cyberia and The Domain (both condo near the school). Gave LingYue quite a surprise... haha...

Then we went eat, and go to Alamanda @ Putrajaya. Reached there without problem. Mind you, it's my 1st damn time to drive in KL and 1st damn time to go to that place by myself.
Watched X-man origin there.
And there is a credit glitch in the arcade center, and we completed the whole House of Dead 4 there with 22 credits :P

Today is Moral final exam. Did it...
And 2moro will be the Comunication studies (a better title for English language) exam.

Then after that will be presentation on Friday and off I go.
Holiday!

Until then.

Aftermath, out.

Time Flies

Time flies fast like hell
So we need to use it well
It never stop and never wait
That's why I always stay up late.. =p

LOL... some stupid cooked-up so-called 'poem'.

Yea, time really 'flies'. It's like I've just entered LUCT in January and now it's already May. Whoa...
Damn fast... 1 semester gone... half of the 13.5k used...
I do learned some stuffs... created some 'masterpiece'... and let's not forgot some stupid, crappy work.
Well, shit happens right?
Btw, I will load the artwork here when I have the time, internet speed, and computer.

So 1 Semester almost gone. Now rushing my assignments - almost done.
Presentation will be held next week.
Same goes to the Moral Studies final exam.
Gee... I thought going to campus means free from the boring moral, history and geography.
Apparently not.

But after next week, it will be my [about] 2 months' long holiday! :)
Must think of what to do... haha

Btw, last week's Friday is 1st of May, the Labour Day. It's a holiday, in case anyone doesn't know that. Luckily, I knew Jacky was going to go back to Ipoh too, so I followed.
It isn't free, mind you. The taxi fare from my place to his place (Cyberjaya to Subang Jaya SS15) cost RM35!! Hell expensive.
But going back home to sleep and eat is a nice one. :)
And my cousin came back too - nice timing.

This week is a special week for the world's mother.

I would like to wish every mother, grandmother in this world:

HAPPY MOTHER's DAY
We all LOVE ya!

Thank you for everything.

Love from,
DavidLiou

Some jokes to relax

Sorry for the long absent. I know I'm away for a long time, but the workload is getting more and more. Plus, I don't have a laptop. Plus, the internet connection here sux.

Anyway, before I forgot, there is a list of people I need to wish "Happy Birthday" to - officially.

Firstly, myself :P

For belated,
Bao Yee
Kin Yew
Celine

For later,
Kin Mun
Elize
Tomato Mak
Edison
Neo

That's all I guess. For any left-out, please let me know.

---

Now the joke of the week:

We always hear "the rules" from the female side. Now here are the Rules from the male side. There are our rules:-

Please note.... these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!

1. Breasts are for looking at and that is why we do it. Don’t try to change that.

1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You’re a big girl. If its up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don’t hear us complaining about you leaving it down.

1. Saturday = Sports. Its like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

1. Sunday = Games. Please don't interrupt us. Wait until the game ends - or loading.

1. Shopping is NOT a sport. and no, we are never going to think of it that way.

1. Crying is blackmail.

1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: subtle hints do not work! strong hints do not work! obvious hints do not work! Just say it!

1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That’s what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem.
See a doctor.

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.

1. If you think you are fat, you probably are. Don’t ask us.

1. if something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.

1. you can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.

1. whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

1. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.

1. ALL men see in only 16 colours, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a colour. Pumpkin is also a fruit.
We have no idea what Mauve is.

1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.

1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing’, we will act like nothings wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.

The Life so Far

Time, is fast.
It's been quite some time I blog... 3 weeks I think.
I'm writing this on public request.

Appearantly, I've been living, and studying at LimKokWing, Cyberjaya for 2 whole months.
Homework starting pouring in like tsunami. Everyday there will be a new assignment. A lot of drawing stuffs to do. Luckily enough, my foundation on art isn't too bad. Still got some A's from my homework.
Pity those FABE (Faculty of Architecture and Build Enviroment). They got plenty of homeowork. And I mean PLENTY.

So far, came here not much place to go. Just went around Sungai Wang and Pavilion.
Maybe next holiday we might go somewhere further.
Everyday free time will be basketball, ping pong, or watch movie with my friends on laptops.
Yea, still don't have any laptop yet.

Oh yea, cooked quite a lot, cause it's a lot cheaper than you buy it outside.
A typical 3 dishes and 1 soup dinner cost only about RM8 per person, depends on what dishes you cook.
You buy it outside, it will be like, what... 20 bucks?
Might upload some of the dishes photos up here... next time.

Hoping to move out of this hostel a lot. But currently there is not enough people to move out. Some just chickened out at last minute while others say "See how la..." (看看这么样先).
Big chance of getting a 2nd hand car from Hong if we move out.
Let's just hope someone is brave enough to move out with us.

Actually moving out has a damn lot more benefits than staying in this damn condo.
Firstly, The rent outside is a lot more cheaper than the condo's. At the highest Rm350 per month, we can have like 6 people living in a single house. Let's put it, 4 person per house. That's only Rm85 per person each month. Make it Rm100 per month, which includes the water and electric bill.
The rent fee at our condo? An average of Rm400 per month, price depends on what type of room you are staying.
Secondly, this desaria condo is in the middle of nowhere. No shop, no supermarket, no nothing. To go to the nearest shopping center will need like, 30-40 minutes. Moving outside will be more convenient.
Thirdly, getting a car outside will repay the cost for you in 4 years' time. Fees use on public transport isn't cheap anyway, and waiting for the busses is annoying enough.

That's all I guess.
Hoping to have a game of basketball with my friends. It's been a while.

Wish me luck on moving out. I hope I can.

Aftermath, signing off.

Back 2 Campus

Tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow.
Time passed faster than arrow.
Going back to campus with a shirt not in black but yellow.
Now blogging from the computer that I borrowed.

Haha... some really stupid poem.
The SitRep is, now I'm using LimKokWing's air-conditioned research center library's E-library's computer.
And I did be laughing hard if you are trying to read out the sentence above aloud.
Blek... =P

Alright, back to business.
CNY had just passed...
Sorry, correction, I mean the first few days of CNY had just passed.
FYI, CNY last for 15 days - that's the tradition.
But we can't have a full holiday of 15 days now, right? LOL.

Back to home is nice. No need to wash my clothes by hand, washing machine is there. No need to cook. And the best thing is - my bedroom.
Basically the whole CNY I'm staying at home, doing nothing much but rest.
"Resting is to travel a longer distance," said so by a Chinese proverb.

Besides resting, we need fun right? So I went to my friends house by the 3rd day of the CNY.
We started out eating in "Moven Peak" steamboat restaurant, from 7:45pm to 10:30 pm.
Then we went to Jacky's house and had some games, chat, and drinking. Some of them gamble too, but not me - no thanks.
In the middle of the night, we went for a basketball game from 2am to 4:30am. Damn cool.
After that we went mamak stall and had... what should I call that? Supper or Breakfast?

And there goes my CNY - I think.

Now back to school, real classes started. No more playing stuffs around.
The first day we had an English test - those who get below 75% will need to attend for the IH (International House) classes on Communication Studies. The stupid thing is - they don't accept GCE 'O' Level's English result.
What to do, took the test. The ironic part is, the essay section, there is a question about: "Discuss about exam and test. Do you agree on exams and tests. If a person passed the exams will he succeed? What if he failed the exams, will he not succeed in the future?"
Something like that. That's why I said it's ironic.

But after all, like the seniors said - have fun, be safe, and attend classes. Haha...

Back to Ipoh - Happy CNY

It's again the once-in-a-year event of Chinese New Year!
Campus life is - so far - still quite nice to me.
Well... who knows what will happen next?
Glad to know many new friends!
Had many great time with them.
Haha... that day shopping... from 12am go out, till 9:30 only came back.
And spent Rm16 on a cup of 'expensive milo'. (Nah, Godiva's hot dark chocolate)

We did cook in the hostel.
If anyone watched how Yipi cook, you will laugh like hell. Haha.
Qiu Shuang cook soup damn nice. :)
And then we got spaghetti specialist Celine. xD

School program get very interesting at Gala Concert.
You should see how everyone come out like nuts. LMAO.
Zombie, Penguin, Dancing - what style also got.
If they ever upload it to You-Tube, I will let you all know... LOL

That's all I guess.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR
folks!

New Living Place

Well... went LimKokWing dy.
Still fine there. The school is big, and wonderful. The staffs and lecturers are friendly and nice too. Been having the orrientation program now. No lessons till after CNY! Yea!!! :P

Knew a lot of new friends there! All over the world! That was cool man. Black, white, yellow, brown - any kind of people - can be found there! All of them are quite friendly too. Had quite a lot of fun with them through the program.
Had dance, music and other stuffs. I'm thinking of enroll in hip-hop and drum-set. Haha.

So... foundation in Design now.
Hope I can get good results from it. Then proceed to degree in Professional in Design.
Those lecturers there promised to 'torture' us a lot. LOL.
Well, yup. Need to think to the limit.
It's called LimKokWing University of Creative Technology (LUCT).
So, lessons and other stuffs there are quite special too.

Living in Desaria Condo now.
Although it sux... ya, it sux. Really.
Firstly it's in the middle of no where. No shops or any public facilities in between the walking distance.
The food stall is VERY limited. Just 1 stall and that's all.
Water supply sux. The water smells!
Service is not that good too. Busses arrived or depart not on time (too early/too late). Lights not turned on for the basketball court at night.
I had heard about theives breaking into house, and several fatal accidents too.

But other than that, I guess it's alright.
We don't have much choice right?
The boss of this condo smart la, find this place near to LKW.
Just need to more careful.
Nothing to do much here. Mostly play basketball.
Yea, played with those black guys, and china and korea too.

Gonna had more fun the following days, I guess. It's sports session tomorrow.
Let's see if I can own in basketball. Haha.
Ah, my 3 points are much better now.

Gotta go.

Aftermath, out.

PS: I'm logging from my China friend's comp anyway. He is my housemate. The name is Jiang Yi.
